We've been venue-hunting for a small exhibition taking place in London in November. Our in-depth questionnaire for our venue-finding service ensures not only a venue in the right location but that you have the correct room space and facilities suitable for your event and delegates. Bear in mind your set-up and break-down times when looking at venues and make sure to include these - nothing worse than booking a room from say, 2.00pm when your event is due to start, thinking you can get in at 1.00pm to set up and then finding out that the morning event doesn't finish until 1.30pm. Sign up to our regular newsletter (only one a month) for more helpful advice. ]]>
<![CDATA[New Year and new destinations]]>Wed, 11 Jan 2012 23:28:35 +0800http://significantevents.co.uk/1/post/2012/01/new-year-and-new-destinations.htmlWe've two events this week, a presentation to UK SME's to show them how they can expand into Egypt though our fabulous clients Vanquish Developments. Vanquish have been working in Egypt for over six years now. They are the British owner/developer of the Palo Verde Raceway in Sinai and, along with its Egyptian partners at Gulf Agency Shipping made the right decision to have a working partnership with UKTI just as the revolution gained momentum. The interim government has actively sought the support of the British government and the skills and expertise of British companies to help them get to grips the challenges facing the country post-Arab Spring. Companies looking to take advantage of the work opportunities and enthusiastic workforce should attend one of our presentations or better still come to Cairo on one of our regular monthly trade missions. See www.vanquishdevelopments.com/business and sign up.

Our second event is a small party to celebrate the opening of new offices for another key clients. As well as the obligatory champagne, we've arranged lots nibbles with fresh, colourful ingredients and juice spritzers for those dealing with the post Christmas carbohydrate overload. Networking, catching up after the break and not a mince pie in sight!

Here's to your next event. Cheers! ]]>
